What's new in Print Window?

Version 4.1.2 makes the following changes:
  • Fixed a problem that could cause some sorting options to not function correctly.
  • Fixed a problem that would cause multi-level file listings to not indent correctly when using the “Names Only” style and icons were not included.
  • File listings now generate much faster when the “Size” field is not selected when using the “Full List” style.

  • Added the option to print only folders and not any files contained in the folders.
  • Added the option to use QuickLook to generate icons for supported file types (Print Window Advanced Only).
  • Added the option to bold names of folders in file listings.
  • Added services support for Mac OS X 10.6 or greater. A “Print File Listing...” option will appear in the Services menu in the Finder when a folder is selected.
  • No longer shows the option to install the Contextual Menu plugin under Mac OS X 10.6 or greater (not supported on this OS).

Version 4.0.2 makes the following changes:
  • Print Window now logs errors creating FSRefs and checking if a file is a bundle to the console rather than displaying an ambiguous “Error” dialog.
  • Fixed a problem where Print Window would not look for a valid registration in certain circumstances when the current user is a Standard User.
  • Changed the way the Toolbar buttons handle the mouse being dragged while the mouse-button is down. Now properly update when the mouse-cursor is dragged outside the button’s bounds while the button is down.
  • Print Window now ignores any files beyond the first 32,768 files or folders in a folder. It will also log a message to the System Console when it does.
  • Fixed two problems that could cause a crash atcFolderLIstBox.Initialize.
  • Fixed a problem that could cause an incorrect error message to appear after checking for an update in the Preferences window.
  • Fixed an assertion error that occured if the “Cancel” button is clicked in the system Print dialog.
Version 4.0.1 makes the following changes:
  • Fixes an issue where the print dialog would not appear after clicking the "Print" button in the "Print Options" window while "Remember Page Setup Settings" was selected in the "Preferences" window.
  • Fixes an issue where a CD Cover listing would print an extra page if the finished listing should only be one page long.
