Webpage Now Improved for iPhone
February 23, 2009 13:22 Filed in: General
We’ve made a few small changes to the website to
help it initially display better in Mobile Safari on the
iPhone/iPod Touch. Specifically, we’ve added a tag
to all the pages, which causes Mobile Safari to make the
content area fill the screen as much as possible when
initially displayed.
Previously, when a user visited the site using Mobile Safari, the site was rendered to only fill about 3/4 of the screen width. Adding this tag makes Mobile Safari render the site to fill nearly 100% of the screen, making it initially to read. Of course, resizing still works the same as always.
There should be no difference on desktop browsers.

This release addresses the following issues:
- Print Window now logs errors creating FSRefs and checking if a file is a bundle to the console rather than displaying an ambiguous “Error” dialog.
- Fixed a problem where Print Window would not look for a valid registration in certain circumstances when the current user is a Standard User.
- Changed the way the Toolbar buttons handle the mouse being dragged while the mouse-button is down. Now properly update when the mouse-cursor is dragged outside the button’s bounds while the button is down.
- Print Window now ignores any files beyond the first 32,768 files or folders in a folder. It will also log a message to the System Console when it does.
- Fixed two problems that could cause a crash atcFolderLIstBox.Initialize.
- Fixed a problem that could cause an incorrect error message to appear after checking for an update in the Preferences window.
- Fixed an assertion error that occured if the “Cancel” button is clicked in the system Print dialog.
